Fiji Resorts Holiday Guide

One of the best places to holiday in Fiji is at a resort and there is something available to suit all budgets. There are many resorts destinations to choose from and favourite regions include island resorts in the Mamanucas and Yasawas, romantic resorts in the north of Fiji, adventure resorts in Kadavu and Beqa and so on.

Accommodation is often in the form of individual beach cottages built Fijian style, with romantic thatched roofs and traditional Fiji design motifs and details. These are called bure - pronounced 'booray'. Some are quite simply constructed such as some of the locally-owned budget resorts in the Yasawas, whereas others can be very luxurious such as the 5-star resorts found in many of the private outer islands.
